As we approach the festive season, festivities are already putting people into the party mood.

One such event is the Levi's Vintage Sunday music sessions. For the past few months, Sundays all over South Africa have been given a new lease of life with events showcasing the best of local talent, proving that Mzansi's finest are as fine as they come.

As the festivities enter the final stage, the sessions present The Best of Levi's Vintage Sundays at Bassline on Saturday, October 6.

Getting the crowd going will be Zubz, Lira, Arno Carstens and Albert Frost, Tidal Waves and DJ Kenzhero.

Zubz is an insightful MC who knows how to switch styles, get grooves on and ignite minds with his deeply infectious rhymes. It's wordplay that speaks to the soul. Lira's stage presence is as alluring as her divine voice.

Living legends Carstens and Frost have combined their vast talents into a singular force. A sublime voice with an ingenious guitar player, they are a match made in melodic heaven.

With a stage presence that oozes righteousness and a sound that defies classification, Tidal Waves are intent on making audiences skank and rock.

DJ Kenzhero is master of funk, who spins on intuition and whose box is jam packed with delights and surprises. The show starts at 8pm.
