A taxi driver who allegedly jumped to safety when the brakes of his minibus failed, resulting in the immediate death of two passengers, appeared in the Wynberg magistrate's court yesterday.
A third passenger died in hospital a week later.
Richard Ngobeni, who was earlier released on bail, faces three counts of culpable homicide following the July 6 accident on London Road in Alexandra.
The case was postponed to November 30 pending postmortem results requested by prosecutor Lufuno Maphiri.
