Don't miss Motswako Jazz Summer Sounds at the Innisfree Park in Sandton, Johannesburg, on October 6 from 9am onwards.

Set to mesmerise the crowd with cool sounds are Malaika, Nhlanhla, Ntando, Zonke, Stimela, Siphokazi, Black Coffee, Sis 'n Jones while Lawrence Dube comperes.

Music lovers will be treated to the fine sounds of Malaika who might perform without Jabulani, who has been under the weather for some time.

The trio are flying high with their latest release Sekunjalo, which is currently dominating the charts. It boasts African sounds from the DRC and Nigeria, where they will be performing shortly.

Ntando is another dark horse to watch out for. His fans were worried when Ntando embarked on a solo career, but he has allayed their fears by delivering the killer album, Uhambo Lwami.

Nhlanhla's Inguquko is also stirring a lot of interest. Initially sceptical because of its Afropop origins, fans quickly came around when they realised that the album has a life of its own.

Then there's the newcomer Siphokazi. The singer with the fine voice has done extremely well. Blessed with a voice as clear as spring water, Siphokazi worms her way through your heart.

A lot is still to come from the formidable duo, Siphokazi with her fine voice and Sipho Sithole who is emerging as a brilliant producer and a very clever marketing man, if Ubuntu Bam is anything to go by. You just have to love Siphokazi's high flying single, Sengiqhomoloza.

Stimela will lean on over 30 years experience churning out smooth sounds of local jazz that can hold its own anywhere in the world.

And with the captivating radio veteran Dube in the driving seat, you just know that you will be in good company.

Tickets cost R150 at Computicket.
