Proteas and Eagles opening batsman, Lungile "Loots" Bosman, has been found guilty of breaching Cricket South Africa's rules and code of conduct and has been suspended for one SuperSport Series match, Cricket South Africa announced yesterday.
This follows Bosman's appearance before the CSA's disciplinary commissioner, Advocate Michael Kuper SC, last Friday. This follows a report lodged by CSA's CEO, Gerald Majola, in terms of clause 220.127.116.11 of the rules and code of conduct of CSA.
The report arose from statements which appeared in Beeld on September 5 2007.
According to the statement Bosman will not be permitted to take part in the SuperSport Series match, Nashua Dolphins versus Gestetner Diamond Eagles scheduled for October 10 to 14 at Sahara Stadium, Kingsmead. - Sowetan
