A Soweto businessman is entangled in a bitter row over a family house he is allegedly in the process of acquiring.

The Mntambos in Orlando West are spitting fire after they discovered that the owner of Nambitha, a restaurant situated opposite their family home, Khulani Vilakazi, is bent on owning their home.

They accuse Vilakazi of bribing a family member, Tholakele Mntambo, who lives in the house, with alcohol. This to soften her into agreeing to change ownership of the house into his name. Tholakele, whom family members say has a drinking problem, has been staying alone in the house since her parents died.

She has now moved out of the family home and is occupying Vilakazi's renovated house down the road from her home.

She denied allegations that Vilakazi was bribing her with alcohol.
