Kanye West the comedian

Rapper Kanya West showed off his comedic skills at the Emmy Awards on Sunday when he took part in a karaoke contest skit with comedian Wayne Brady and actor Rainn Wilson.

Brady, the host of America's Don't Forget The Lyrics show, brought West and The Office star Wilson to the Shrine Auditorium stage and challenged them both to tackle the rapper's lyrics.

Bespectacled Wilson won the comical contest when he correctly remembered the lyrics to the rap star's Stronger hit.

West was penalised for using the word "you" instead of "ya".

The Gold Digger star, who hit the headlines for complaining about losing out on five awards and was nominated for the MTV Video Music Awards last week, quipped: "I never win". - Wenn
