Former Kaizer Chiefs and Maritzburg United striker Kabamba Musasa's club-less blues ended on Wednesday when the Congolese signed for Mpumalanga Black Aces.

Also joining Amazayoni is Nigerian Emanuel Eminyeke, who has already proved his goal-scoring prowess with a brace when Aces beat Jomo Cosmos 4-2 in a friendly on Sunday.

The acquisition of the two is a good boost for Aces ahead of the National First Division inland stream kickoff on September 28.

Thabo Moroape, Aces' spokesman said: "Kabamba and Emanuel are officially our players. Both players have signed one-year contracts with renewal options."

He said Eminyeke is a great player who is comfortable with both feet.

"The fact that he was recommended by former Swazi international and prolific Kaizer Chiefs goal scorer Absalom "Scara" Thindwa, says it all. Musasa needs no introduction to South African football," said Moroape.

Musasa was released by Maritzburg United after indicating he was not prepared to go down to the NFD with the team. He will join compatriot Felix Mwamba Musasa, who has extended his stay at the club by one year.

Aces are among the favourites to win the league this season.
