Huge diamond found at Letseng

The 18th biggest diamond found to date, a 494 carat gem, has been discovered at Letseng Mine in Lesotho, mining company Gem Diamonds said yesterday. The find "confirms the Letseng Mine's reputation as the leading producer of large gem quality diamonds," chief executive Clifford Elphick said. Letseng has produced three of the world's top 20 diamonds. -- Reuters
