Spokesman Captain Elliot Sinyangana said the 17-year-old boy was arrested on Wednesday after a group of boys beat up Thando Badula at his parents' home in Zone 27, Langa, on Monday night.
Sinyangana said the group went to Badula's home as if they were friends and suddenly beat him up and left him unconscious.
His father took him to hospital where he was declared dead on arrival. More charges could be added to the boy's case. - Sapa
