The Fees Must Fall protests had dire consequences for café employee Eddie at the University of Cape .
The formation of the APC by Themba Godi shows how hungry our politicians are for power. Godi's thinking of survival in the current political era shows just how confused the prodigal son is.
Godi believes that just because he heads Scopa, that at some stage he might be the president of South Africa.
He is confused. South Africans should not be fooled by people who become famous by using the illiterate masses to achieve their goals. We have not forgotten that Godi became known when the people of Bushbuckridge wanted to be incorporated into Mpumalanga, a move they now regret.
I have known him since he was a member of the Azanian National Youth Unity. He did not have any leadership skills. Only tribalism got him into power.
If Godi thinks he will destroy the PAC, he is just fooling himself. After the 2009 elections, he will be unemployed. He is failing to see what is happening to parties formed to satisfy the bellies of their founders. My advice to Godi is to consult Ike Kekana and his allies in the UIF, his former party. They know better.
Come home, prodigal son. Perhaps we did not orientate you properly while you were with us.
