Some of the players from Orlando Pirates' development programme are on the verge of being fired for unbecoming behaviour.
The head of the programme, Augusto Palacios, who also heads the Augusto Palacios Apprentice Academy, told Sowetan this will be conveyed to the parents by the parents' committee at a meeting to be held at the Mayfair grounds at 9am tomorrow.
"This meeting is very important and it is compulsory that parents attend because we'll be discussing their children's future in the game and about their performance in school," he said.
"While players are at training, the parents meeting will be in progress.
"We are going to inform the parents about the performance, progress and about some of the players with undisciplined behaviour even in their education, and also those who are going to be dismissed next year because of under-performing and those who will be recruited."
Palacios said they held two workshops in January and last week, where they discussed and reviewed the performances of the players and coaches. The last workshop will be held in December.
He said during the workshops they discussed the style of play, method of training, tactical and physical training with all coaches in development.
Palacios pointed out that they would also discuss the competitions that have ended. He said the Safa Rand Central League will continue.
