Two men were arrested yesterday for assaulting a 50-year-old motorist in Boksburg in what police believe was a road-rage incident.

Ekurhuleni metro police spokesman Kobeli Mokheseng said the two men were arrested on the R21 near the Griffiths Road bridge. Mokheseng said the two, aged 35 and 29, were driving in a white Audi A4 when they allegedly forced the other driver, who was driving a Mazda Etude, to stop.

He said: "The two assaulted him after stopping him.

"Patrolling metro police saw the assault and arrested the two men."
