Leadership blues derail Orlando Pirates

The lack of results at Orlando Pirates should be blamed on the leadership. Pirates does not have a leader on or off the field. Off the field leadership is very indecisive. They cannot decide which players to keep and which ones to dispose of.

The lack of results at Orlando Pirates should be blamed on the leadership. Pirates does not have a leader on or off the field. Off the field leadership is very indecisive. They cannot decide which players to keep and which ones to dispose of.

The media suggests that Pirates has 50 players on its books. If this number is right, this is an indication of indecision on the part of management. On the field there is also no leadership. The current technical staff is not up to the challenge. As a member of Safa, Irvin Khoza is very decisive, but he is not doing that at Pirates.

The solution to Pirates' problems lies in reducing the team to not more than 30 players, and finding a coach who fits the status of Pirates. If this is not done Pirates will continue to flounder. Brands are not built in the manner things are done at Pirates.
