Kwaito outfit Amarhobha are back in business after releasing a new album Phansi Phezulu.

Amarhobha comprises Zippo Mbatha, Thulani Mlotshwa and Xolani Hlatshwayo.

Their album Phansi Phezulu is set to rock this coming festive season. The album has all the ingredients of a big hit.

Unlike the group's debut album, Phansi Phezulu is more vibey and has a mature sound. On this album, the trio seems to have had enough time to experiment and be creative.

"We know that our first album was not a hit. We were just introducing ourselves to the music industry. This time we knew which sound we wanted to produce. We planned our melodies before we even wrote the lyrics. We are all excited," said Mlotshwa.

Mbatha says they have used the production skills of Babs Radebe, Jamela aka Sgonondo and Preston "Press" Sihlangu on this album.

"We love the hardcore kwaito we grew up listening to. We were inspired by the likes of M'du and Chiskop. We love the style we are currently playing. Our aim is to prove to people that kwaito does have a message," says Hlatshwayo.

They have also adopted the eMndeni Children's Home as a focus of their charity work.

"We grew up in eMndeni. We know how much help the home needs. When we released our first album, we donated money to the home. We also visit the children. They will be getting 2percent from our royalties for this album," said the trio.
