Limpopo Premier Sello Moloto yesterday called on investors to "flock" to his province because opportunities in the area abounded.

Moloto was speaking after the sod-turning ceremony this week to mark the construction of Eskom's Medupi power station. The event was also attended by Public Enterprises Minister Alec Erwin and Eskom's Jacob Maroga.

The R80billion project in the Lephalale Municipality, will cover 883ha and will have an operational life of 50 years.

"We call on more and more investors to come to Limpopo where opportunities abound," said Moloto.
