A roadshow is under way to update participating high school pupils about the salient workings of the Smart Young Mindz challenge.
Smart Young Mindz is a mentally stimulating competition to encourage pupils' interest in mathematics, physical science, technology and entrepreneurship.
Smart Young Mindz celebrity ambassador Shonisani Muleya, better known as DJ Shabba, will be seen at the DC Marivate High School in Soshanguve, Pretoria, today at 12pm and at the Glen High School in Glenstantia tomorrow, also at 12pm.
The six other Smart Young Mindz hosting schools are:
l Alberton High School on August 20;
l General Smuts High School in Vereeniging on August 22;
l Highlands North Boys High School on August 23;
l Raucall Secondary School in Crosby on August 27;
l Fred Norman High School in Ennerdale on August 29;
l Cullinan High School on August 30.
A youth development brainchild of Blue IQ, Smart Young Mindz is endorsed by the Gauteng education department and Sowetan is a media partner.
It is a part of the Aggrey Klaaste Nation Building Foundation.
