Twelve SuperSport Premier Soccer League games, including the SAA Supa 8 matches leading to the semifinals, are to be shown live on SuperSport this month.
The games will see teams such as Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns, Moroka Swallows and Kaizer Chiefs featuring prominently on the small screen until the end of Women's Month.
This was confirmed by Guy Hawthorne, SuperSport's publicity editor yesterday, who said they would sit down at the end of the month to draw a schedule for the rest of the 2007/08 soccer season.
On the other hand, free-to-air television e.tv has since disappeared from the broadcast scene following the SABC's about-turn in buying the rest of the package from their bitter rivals from Randburg - SuperSport.
Vasili Vass, e.tv head of publicity, yesterday told Sowetan that they were not going to broadcast Premier Soccer League games.
"We don't have any rights to broadcast the games,'' said Vass yesterday.
