For the good of all

We applaud the three law firms that joined Habitat for Humanity and the Katlehong South/Vosloorus Self-Help Housing Scheme in building houses for the poor in Katlehong recently.

Who knows? The gesture by the legal eagles might even go some way in changing their image among township folk, where they are known as abomajiyane, meaning liars.

Our appreciation also goes to the increasing number of celebrities who give up their time to help the housing effort or similar charitable ventures.

We need many more ambassadors of goodwill.
