The festival which was launched yesterday in Johannesburg, will feature different art genres, such as visual arts, poetry, theatre, comedy, music, film and puppetry.

The first week of the festival will open with music performances by Cuban pianist Omar Sosa and the Miagi Orchestra, and bassist Carlo Mombelli at the Bassline in Johannesburg.

This year there will also be an exhibition of Indian textiles and a visual art exhibition at the Johannesburg Art Gallery.
