The Kokstad police have been accused of dragging their feet in deciding whether or not to prosecute Bafana Bafana star, Sibusiso Zuma.

Kokstad resident, Sicelo Mphetshwa, 26, has accused the police of not making any progress in the matter though he reported the case against Zuma last month.

Mphetshwa has accused Zuma of pointing a firearm at him and threatening to shoot him at a private party hosted by the star.

Zuma is reported to have also laid an assault charge against Mphetshwa.

The Bafana Bafana player is said to be in Germany where he is playing for Arminia Bielefeld Football Club.

Kokstad public prosecutor, Lynn Wessels, said the matter was still being investigated.

Kokstad police spokesman Director Thulani Phahla said: "The prosecutor still has to question witnesses to the incident before the case continues."
