Daveyton police have released the identity kit of a man who allegedly assaulted and raped a 19-year-old schoolgirl in the area earlier this month.
This after the girl alleged she was assaulted at the Daveyton Police Station in front of cops when she had gone to the police station to report an earlier assault by the same man.
"While trying to make a statement the suspect arrived and at the police station and assaulted me in front of the police," she said then.
"Instead of protecting me, a policeman joined in, and slapped me several times in the face."
The girl also alleged that she was raped by the same man, on the same night after the police ordered her to leave the police station.
She said the man took her to his shack where he raped her.
But the police have denied the allegations saying the girl, her alleged attacker, and her brother-in-law, were drunk and noisy on the fateful day. The incident happened on July 1.
The suspect is a black, male aged between 15 and 20, whose height is 1,65m, of medium build, dark in complexion and has dark hair. He has a scar on his left cheek and another on his left shoulder.
