Winnerspark's supporters are likely to coin the slogan "Dance in the winners' park" after moves by the side's management to rope in Dan "Dance" Malesela as their head coach for next season.

The two parties will meet in Polokwane today to finalise a deal that will see Malesela coaching the team in the National First Division in the 2007/08 season.

Winnerspark co-director Morris Chokoe and Malesela said yesterday that they were positive they would agree terms today.

"We want 'Dance' to guide the team in the new season and we will give him all the support he wants," Chokoe said. "We are convinced he has what it takes to add value in the team, otherwise we would not have considered him for the job."

Malesela added: "Winnerspark strike me as an ambitious team and I like to be part of such a team. I saw them in the Platinum playoffs last month and they are not a bad team."

Winnerspark were left stranded without a coach after the departure of the wily, yet underrated, Innocent Mayoyo in the off-season.

Mayoyo, who steered the team to the Platinum playoffs, has moved to the Moroka Swallows' nest as an assistant to head coach Ian Gorowa.

Former Orlando Pirates and Ria Stars defender Sam Pam has been earmarked for an assistant coaching job at the Seshego club.

Malesela was fired by Benoni Premier United boss Dumisani Ndlovu last week, barely three weeks after he was appointed the Rabbits' mentor.

Ndlovu said he did not give former general manager Simon Ngobeni permission to sign the 42-year-old former Orlando Pirates, Manning Rangers, Mamelodi Sundowns and Bidvest Wits defender.
