I can understand why Pandelani Nefolovhodwe thinks that the new Children's Act is unAfrican.
But then, so is throwing your child in a pit toilet, abandoning them in a park, locking them in a car or allowing a boyfriend or lover to rape them. These are inhuman, not just unAfrican.
The Act might be flawed because it tries to cover too many aspects, but what would the situation be if there was no such law at all?
Ubuntu is all very well but some people must be forced to respect it or they will happily destroy the lives around them.
