One step to 2010

Many commuters must have welcomed the advent of the Soweto Business Express train, which aims to make travel to and from work a pleasurable experience.

The train will travel daily between Soweto and Johannesburg.

Its launch marks a small - but significant - step in the journey to jacking up the public transport networks in the country ahead of the 2010 World Cup.
