They want R500 000 each for their contribution in helping South Africa to be awarded the 2010 World Cup, though it is not known how the members arrived at such a figure, the Johannesburg weekly reported.
This would cost cash-strapped Safa R10,5 million.
After Danny Jordaan, Irvin Khoza and Molefi Oliphant were each awarded R7,4million bonuses three years ago, a resolution was undertaken that the rest of the national executive would be rewarded accordingly.
Though it was not decided how much the members would be given, the issue has been raging in Safa's corridors ever since.
"We did not get a cent after the World Cup was awarded to South Africa.
"Some of the members launched the first World Cup bid in Burkina Faso in 1998 and have been involved throughout. It's not fair," said a member of the national executive committee, who spoke to Sunday Times on condition of anonymity. - Sapa
