This is a new beginning for our soccer. SuperSport's partnership with the PSL will put the league among the best in the world because the sports channel's vision goes beyond the deal. It looks at the broader picture and will invest in our soccer.
The nation was subjected to selectiveness and bias by SABC commentators and poor service in terms of delaying games. Evening games were dumped for Generations which might have a more viewers, but what is the point of watching a delayed match?
Now the SABC will have to buy games from SuperSport and get a taste of its own medicine.
