Lesotho's Likoena hope to bring high-flying Uganda down to their knees when they meet them in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at Setsoto Stadium today.
The match was originally scheduled for Sunday but was postponed by match commissioner Frans Samaria Killa of Namibia after match officials failed to turn up.
The Tanzanian match officials were apparently delayed en route to the Mountain Kingdom. The match could also not be played at night because the floodlights at Setsoto Stadium were not tested by the technicians.
Tshiu Monne, Lesotho Football Association executive committee member, said their players were psyched up for the match.
The Lesotho senior national soccer side have won only one match, beating Nigeria away 3-1, from the four Afcon qualifiers they have played.
In other matches, they narrowly went down 1-0 to Nigeria, lost 2-0 to Niger on home soil and were beaten 3-0 by the Cranes of Uganda.
"It is a known fact that we are out of the race to qualify for the finals in Ghana, but we are busy with our plans to build a new team for the 2010 World Cup," said Monne.
"There are a number of youngsters that we have roped in as we build a new team. We are going all out for a win to better our ranking in the world."
Three South African-based players - captain Lehlohonolo Seema (Orlando Pirates), Katlego Moleko and Tefo Maipato (Yebo Yes) - are in the team.
Uganda will look up to the likes to David Obua (Kaizer Chiefs) and Timothy Batabaire (Bloemfontein Celtic) to make it two in a row against Basotho.
