The Graskop, Mpumalanga, circuit of the Pretoria high court has reserved five days from today to hear the case of a couple who allegedly killed the woman's brother and hid his body in a freezer in August 2005.
The body of Tshepo Sierana, 17, of Matibidi Trust in Bushbuckridge, was found when a 12-year-old neighbour became suspicious.
The boy saw many flies on the window of Mpho Monica Sierana's house and told his grandmother, but she ignored him, Bushbuckridge police investigating officer Captain Tailors Nkuna said yesterday.
The boy then told a local bricklayer, who found the teenager's mutilated body in the freezer. Mpho and her boyfriend, Patrick Phumi Sihlangu, 28, were arrested soon afterwards. - Riot Hlatshwayo
