Budding young actors, dancers and singers aged 14 to 20 have until Saturday to enter the North West Cultural Calabash competition in the category of drama, music or dance.
The winners will have the opportunity to perform at the North West Cultural Calabash Festival in Taung in September, as well as at the Aardklop Arts Festival in Potchefstroom, also in September. They will also receive cash prizes, trophies and follow-up skills development, management and mentoring.
Registration forms can be obtained from municipalities, the provincial Department of Arts and Culture or the nearest Mmabana Cultural Centre. - Tebogo Monama
