Secunda Stars and Inspection go into their SAB Castle regional league Top 16 tournament encounter, billed for Embalenhle Stadium on Saturday at 2pm, brimming with confidence.

Both teams are campaigning in the SAB League under the Safa Gert Sibande region in Mpumalanga.

Bevan Mahlangu, Inspection's spokesman, said: "We are going to continue our dominance over them [Stars]."

Inspection beat Stars 3-1 in the first round of the league and the teams drew 1-all draw in the second round.

"The mood is great in the camp. The players have been on a break and are hungry to play again," said Mahlangu.

Negros Mboweni, Stars' spokesman, said: "The trophy belongs to us.

"They dominated us in the league games, now is the time to inflict pain on them by knocking them out of the tournament."

Fanyana Sibanyoni, Gert Sibande president, said they had set aside R15000 for the tournament.

"We would also like to applaud the Govan Mbeki mayor, Sipho Nkosi, for donating two trophies and 54 medals for the winners," said Sibanyoni.
