The Gauteng Youth Commission, together with Celebrities at Work Initiative, will host the Golden Circle Awards Banquet at Emperor's Palace tomorrow.

The awards are aimed at honouring youth icons, celebrities and companies that have carried out outstanding work in communities in support of youth development.

The awards will also recognise some of the 100 celebrities who participated in the Celebrities at Work against HIV-Aids campaign by taking to the floor and serving customers at the Primi Piatti restaurant in Sandton.

People will be honoured in the public choice celebrity; celebrities at work choice; and government and corporate choice categories.

About 500 people are expected at the event, including VIPs, celebrities, government officials and youth development practitioners.

The banquet will also feature an auction of valuables owned by leading personalities to raise funds for the Bophelong House orphanage.

The event will be hosted by Top Billing presenter Tumisho Masha.

Entertainment will be provided by artists such as Chomi, HHP and L'vovo Derango.

To win tickets to the event SMS Sowetan, and your name to 34110. Tickets are to be collected at Sowetan offices.
