There is no need to fight each other or engage in some kind of a revolution. We have done it before with the apartheid government. I know for a fact that it can also be done to the present government, if public opinion is not taken seriously.

Black people are capable of turning this existing situation into a third world war. It begins with the small issue of a wage dispute and can develop into serious warfare which will affect other sectors of the population and our growing economy.

I believe those days are gone whereby people or political parties solved their problems through toyi-toying or the demolition of buildings, barricading of roads, looting of shops and killing of innocent non-striking people.

The unions have engaged government in serious wage talks since October last year. No one is prepared to settle for less.

A compromise solution must be reached as soon as possible because the lives of innocent people are at stake.

Due to the ineptitude of negotiators from both sides, people continue to die in our hospitals.

Let us bury this chapter once and for all.
