Jackey Maarohanye appeared briefly in the Protea magistrates' court yesterday, with her usual student entourage in tow.
Also appearing were Ronnie Nyakale, 34, and Mpho Makhate, 24. The three allegedly kidnapped and assaulted former Ithuteng Trust student Simphiwe Ncoguthu in February last year.
The case was postponed to July 18.
Ncoguthu had been accused of knowing "too much" about the school and was implicated in an attempted rape.
He was subsequently arrested.
The alleged rape involved a girl claiming to have been instructed by Maarohanye to tell police that Ncoguthu had broken into a hostel and had tried to rape her.
He was held in Johannesburg Prison for six days.
Ithuteng Trust students and other supporters prevented Sowetan photographer Mohau Mofokeng from taking pictures of Maarohanye and Nyakale outside court.
They threw their school blazers and a blanket over Mofokeng, preventing him from shooting any photographs.
