Linked to the www.fifa.com website as per agreement between the two bodies, it was launched at Safa House in Nasrec last Friday.
All the 2010 World Cup finals news can now be accessed under the tournaments section of the new-look Fifa website.
Other events linked to the website are the World Youth Championships in Canada next month and the World Under-17 Championships in South Korea in August.
"We could not launch our website until Fifa re-launched theirs. That was done last week as part of the congress in Zurich," said Tim Modise, LOC spokesman.
