Former Mamelodi Sundowns player Daniel Mudau, who will rejoin the Tshwane team, says he is ready to assume any position club president Patrice Motsepe sees fit to give him.

Mudau, who had an illustrious career with the Brazilians, renewed ties with the Castle Premiership champions yesterday, after a short stint as chief operations officer with Mvela Golden League side FC AK last season.

Speaking to Sowetan yesterday, Mudau said he was excited to be returning to Chloorkop tomorrow and was ready to serve the team he loves.

"Sundowns is my home and I am ready to take any position and perform it to the best of my ability. They have made me who I am today.

"I am flexible and I have room to learn new things. I am grateful that I have been given a second chance to prove myself," said Mudau.

The former goal poacher said he will always be grateful to Sundowns' public relations officer Alex Shakoane and others in the club who supported his return.
