Orlando Pirates midfielder Onyekachi "Tico" Okonkwo is still in suspense regarding his sanction, after last Friday's disciplinary hearing.

The controversial Nigerian was hauled over the coals for absconding from the club since May 1.

He also faced the music for attending trials with German Second Division club FC Cologne without Pirates' permission and claiming thereafter that he was required at home for family reasons.

He also had to answer a charge of failure "on other occasions and at various times to meet his commitments to the team by not attending training and/or matches as required in terms of his contract".

However, the enigmatic midfielder has to wait a little longer before he knows his fate after the chairman of the disciplinary committee, Michael Murphy, took ill.

Bucs' Floyd Mbele remarked: "There is nothing we can do until the DC chairman submits his recommendations to the board.

"All evidence was heard last Friday and the DC chairman was to go through it and make his recommendations but he unfortunately took ill."

The Bucs management are said to have been waiting for the season to end before training focus on all the bad boys who have attracted bad press for the club.

The next in line could be goalkeeper Francis Chansa who admitted to head-butting a supporter last Sunday.

The supporter is said to have confronted him about the three goals he conceded against Bidvest Wits.

"I heard about the head-butting incident from our security personnel but I didn't get all the details," Mbele said.

"We view the matter very seriously and once the police are done with their investigations, we will also be getting to the bottom of it.

"How do you deal with supporters in that fashion?"
