Police are investigating a case of gang-rape at the Westville, Durban, campus of University of KwaZulu-Natal.
Investigators said a girl was allegedly dragged into a toilet and raped at knife-point by three of her four attackers.
The alleged incident happened last Saturday morning. The girl was dropped off at the campus's G block where she was accosted by four men. She pointed out one of her attackers after the incident. No arrests have been made. The university said yesterday the victim was not a student at the campus.
Spokesman Isobel Konyn said: "The allegation of rape at the campus is being investigated by police.
"The victim is not a student at the university."
