The 800m ace had tested positive for the prohibited substance, Norandrosterone, in an out-of-competition test on 21 February 2005. And after having carefully reviewed all the evidence presented in his case, the ASA Tribunal found Sepeng guilty of having committed a doping offence and suspended him for two years on 11 May 2005.
According to the IAAF rules, Sepeng has completed the mandatory four out-of- competition tests during his two-year ineligibility period, and tested negative. Sepeng is therefore free to compete. - Sowetan
