Talented Eastern Cape kwaito singer Siyabulela Nelani, popularly known as Super, has disclosed that he would soon join the Gauteng-based Bulldawgz Productions.

Nelani is confident that joining the Bulldawgz Productions stable, which is home to the likes of Mzambiya, will revive his flagging music career.

Nelani has relocated to Johannesburg in search of greener pastures. The Duncan Village-born singer said he was overwhelmed by the opportunity presented to him by the Bulldawgz's co-owner Oscar Mlangeni.

He said he had already been offered a contract.

"I am still going through the contract and will sign it soon," he said.

Nelani's career hit snags more than three years ago after a much-publicised spat with his former manager Koko Godlo over unpaid money.

They even went to court after Godlo accused his former charge of setting his house on fire, causing damage running into thousands of rands.

Nelani was later acquitted of an arson charge by the East London magistrates' court.

At the time, the singer said he regretted having gone to the media about his fight with Godlo and apologised to his former mentor, saying he was grateful that he had introduced him to the music industry.

"I just want to say to Bra KK [Godlo] I am sorry for saying bad things to the media about him. I've realised that irrespective of the differences we had, saying bad things in the media was wrong. I'm glad that we have now resolved our differences," Nelani added.

Repeated attempts to get comment from Mlangeni were unsuccessful.
