The president of Sassu Softball Vuyi Ndlovu says that sending two teams to the World Student Games in Bangkok in August is a sign of improvement.
Sassu has previously sent only one team to the Games - a female team attended the 2005 event held in Turkey.
"They came back having been thoroughly beaten, but they have since learnt a lot. I think the girls found the height of their opponents hard to deal with. They have now improved a lot, and the standard has really improved.
"We don't get beaten by massive margins anymore."
For more information call Ndlovu on 082-366-2367 or Bonolo Ramphomane on 073-333-5605.
