Gauteng MEC for agriculture Khabisi Mosunkutu at the weekend appeased a group of about 100 residents of Ramohodi, near Hammanskraal outside Pretoria, by accepting their memorandum of grievances to the provincial government.

Mosunkutu signed the memorandum and promised to refer it to the relevant department.

The residents are complaining about lack of development and service delivery in their area and want to be incorporated into the Tshwane metropolitan municipality.

Last week they marched to the house of their councillor, Beauty Motsepe, who refused to come out and address them.

They dumped placards in the driveway.
