Gauteng Highlands Park staged a second half rally to beat Mighty Mega Force from Mpumalanaga 5-2 after trailing 1-0 at the break in an exciting SAB Regional League national playoff match at Galeshewe Stadium in Kimberley yesterday.

Park, who are the development side of Silver Stars, were seemingly motivated in the second period by the presence of Stars' director Larry Brookstone, who graced the occasion.

Park and Manenzhe Liverpool from Limpopo are sharing seven points each from three games but the latter are leading the Inland stream because of a better goal difference.

Today the overall winner in this stream will be decided when Manenzhe come up against Force at 10am while Park face North West Stars at noon.

Back to the game, Force were on the offensive from the onset and pressurised Park defence with threatening shots.

Khethukuthula Zwane beat Park goalie Ntando Ningiza with a missile (1-0) and they then held steadfastly to thei lead until interval.

Park regrouped and launched attack after attack in search of goals.

Mbekweni Cosmos became winners of the Coastal Stream when they beat Ulundi Stars 5-3. Cosmos' scorers were Mzwethemba Kethwa, Kangelani Cetman (brace), Bongai Mathiso and Eric Mxamba while Thami Namalembe and Muzi Mnyandu scored for Stars.
