l January 1 2004 - Rasuge's mother tells Nkuna to leave Rasuge alone. Nkuna threatens to kill Rasuge and himself.
l May 2004 - Rasuge gets a protection order. The turbulent relationship ends.
l August 27 2004 - Rasuge leaves home on Friday morning for a hair salon.
Investigations reveal Nkuna took her and fetched her. She has never been seen again.
l August 28 to September 1 2004 - Money is withdrawn from Rasuge 's account. Police say the man recorded by the bank's camera resembles Nkuna.
l September 1 2004 - Nkuna is arrested for kidnapping.
l Late 2004, early 2005 - Nkuna and his traditional healer Phineas Kutumela, 68, appear in court several times.
l March 3 2005 - Charges are struck from the roll. Nkuna is rearrested for fraud.
l March 23 2005 - Nkuna is released on bail.
l March 25 2005 - Nkuna is rearrested for Rasuge's murder. He is released four days later for a procedural error.
l April 2 2005 - Nkuna is served with an indictment.
l August 1 2005 - Nkuna fails to appear for trial and an arrest warrant is issued. He turns himself in a week later.
l October 3 2005 - The murder trial begins.
l October 13 2005 - Nkuna is convicted of murder.
l November 17 2005 - Nkuna is sentenced.
