The Limpopo Black Business Forum 2010 will hold an executive committee meeting in Polokwane tomorrow to deal with the issue of spin-offs from the 2010 World Cup.

Kedi Mabotja, forum chairman, said the meeting will be addressed by Tebogo Nchapha, project manager of the Peter Mokaba Sports Complex.

Nchapha is in charge of the entire process of the construction of the R870 million complex, which will be one of the venues for the World Cup.

"We have asked Tebogo to give us a clear picture on the business opportunities in the construction of the stadium," explained Mabotja.

"It was announced at the sod-turning ceremony of the complex in March that the people of Limpopo will benefit from the project.

"As the business people, we felt the time was right to get in touch with the project manager so that we can start spreading the message to our members.

"During the meeting, we [the executive] will also discuss the opportunities for the security, transport and tourism companies pertaining to 2010.

"Limpopo is so rich in tourism places that we know that foreigners will just fall in love with it."
