PSL Reserve League affiliates Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates will use today's league games as dress rehearsals ahead of the eagerly-awaited "little Soweto derby" scheduled for Johannesburg Stadium (B Field) next Monday.

Both teams shared the spoils in their first clash when they drew 2-all in an exciting game at Eldorado Stadium on March 19.

Today at Eldorado Stadium, Amakhosi, who are leading the pack, welcome SuperSport United at Eldorado Park in a 3pm kick-off. Second placed Pirates travel to Pretoria where they face bottom club Mamelodi Sundowns at Caledonian Stadium.

Chiefs' good combination of Serge "Mavusana" Djiehoua and David Radebe will be too dangerous for United's defence of Tsietsi Mahoa and company if not carefully monitored.

Radebe and Djiehoua are performing quite well in the Reserve League, more than in the Premiership, and are expected to continue with their impressive performance.

Sundowns' attack of Manqoba Ngwenya and Lungisani "Long Tom" Ndlela will need to pull up their socks if they hope to upset the Buccaneers.

Pirates coach Papi Khomane will rely on the likes of Gift Leremi and Excellent Walaza.

l Moroka Swallows Tshweu Mokoro will lead his side against Jomo Cosmos at the Greek Club, Linksfield while Bidvest Wits take on Benoni Premier United at Milpark stadium.
