The children of a man who ditched them and their mother 15 years ago have accused him of trying to sell the house in which they live.
The four children claim their father, Meshack Monwametsi, started making arrangements to sell the property after their mother died in 2001. But he did not succeed because the children said they had assistance from the municipality and nongovermental organisations.
The Monwametsi children are now accusing their father of trying to sell the house behind their backs again. They said they were going to stop him.
"Since my father returned, there has just been chaos in our lives. He has threatened to kill me," said Monica, one of the children.
"The other day he came and took measurements of things he wanted repaired," she said.
But Monwametsi has denied the claims that he was trying to sell the house.
