In many US states where uranium is mined, children played with "yellow cake" near the pits or swam in dams where uranium had leached into the water. Parents learned the hard way that uranium is pure poison.
Deaths from leukaemia and other cancers forced parents out of their comfort zones. Now they fight any further uranium mining.

Karoo and Beaufort West families should protest this uranium development to protect their children.
