Members of the Benoni police flying squad, searching for a Toyota Corolla Sprinter stolen in Actonville, instead found a Volvo truck and trailer, valued at R1,3 million, which had been hijacked in Kempton Park on Wednesday.

Actonville police spokesman Godin Nyathi said: "The unit's search for the hijacked Toyota took it to Mamkele Street, near Tamboville.

"There they they came across the truck, which belongs to Karan Beef."
