Writer clueless about Zim and black oppression

"Remember the past but live in the future" and "The nation that forgets its history is lost" are sayings to remember.

"Remember the past but live in the future" and "The nation that forgets its history is lost" are sayings to remember.

People who say we should not talk about the past should know that the past made the present.

Zanu-PF supporters know where they came from and where they are going with Robert Mugabe. What Mugabe is doing is understood by his people and all Africans, but many of us in South Africa don't understand what he is doing, why his people like him and vote for him.

Perhaps people did not vote for Morgan Tsvangirai because they don't think he is the key to their future. Maybe he has never done anything for Zimbabwe or perhaps the MDC's vision is not their own.

People have the right to choose their leaders and election monitors try their best to ensure free and fair elections.

Zimbo Manzini's letter, "Sidali clueless about Zim" shows South Africa, not Mugabe, failed Zimbabweans living here.

Where did Manzini get the statistics of Zimbabweans in South Africa? Where are his statistics for Nigerians, Pakistanis, Ghanaians and Ethiopians living here? They all go through the same procedures so Zimbabweans can't be treated differently.

Zimbo does not have a clue about Zimbabwe or how black people have suffered for six to seven decades. I understood Sidali's letter and agree with him 100 percent.
