A 58-year-old woman apparently committed suicide by jumping from her 13th floor flat in Janningdale building on the Marine Parade in Durban yesterday morning.
Jean Loudon had lived in the flat for the past 20 years.
Many of the shocked tenants in the building were getting ready for work when the tragedy took place.
Police spokesman Muzi Mngomezulu, said it is thought that Loudon, who lived alone, suffered from severed depression. He said police are investigating. - Sne Masuku
